If you're looking for a quick bite on the run, check out this little Taiwanese snack booth. The 盐酥鸡 (Taiwanese popcorn chicken bites ) and thick fries were absolutely fantastic and had a very authentic Taiwanese flavor. I just grabbed some and I am extremely satisfied.
The chicken is well fried to a golden brown, but not dripping with oil like the other snack shops. It's also nice to see actual chicken pieces being cooked, not bagged, frozen trash! The chips are also freshly made. There's a bit of a wait but it's 100% worth it...the wait lets you know they're actually cooking, not using packaged ingredients.
