It is the former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower, and was a part of The Kowloon-Canton Railway. The Tower was erected in 1915. The old terminus building was demolished in 1978, with the Tower left in place to serve as an important landmark. The tower has been listed as a declared monument in Hong Kong since 1990.
2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the it's official operation. The use of it’s bell chimes was resumed. From this point, the bell will ring hourly between 8am to midnight. It reports the time via a digital bell system. （Photos: christineee_ddd, Internet）
