Today, on a rainy Monday, I arrived at Haimen Old Street to look around. The street appeared to mostly feature antique shops, tea and art studios. However, all these establishments seemed to be closed, with the lights turned off and no heating. It seems that this area is not particularly popular among tourists or locals. Nevertheless, the architectural style and variety of buildings is quite good, especially the Republic of China-style buildings in the northern section. Despite its small size, my main issue with this area is its lack of variety - for example there were no options for food or entertainment.
